Securing Assets: Cycle Compounds & Bin Stores
Cycle Security: A simple rack isn't always enough. Our secure compounds feature floor-to-roof mesh or cladding, keypad or key-lock access, and roof coverage. This is essential for long-term parking (e.g., residential blocks, train stations).
Bin Enclosures: Unsightly wheelie bins are a blight on modern developments. Our secure bin shelters hide waste from view, prevent fly-tipping by unauthorized users, and contain wind-blown litter.
Cladding & Aesthetics
We offer various cladding options to blend with the environment:
- Wood Cladding: Using treated timber for a softer, natural look, ideal for parks and residential areas.
- Steel Mesh: Provides high security while maintaining visibility (important for personal safety inside the shelter).
- Sheet Steel: Total visual screening, perfect for hiding industrial bins.
FAQ
Do these shelters come with locks ?
Yes. Our secure shelters can be fitted with various locking mechanisms, including standard cylinder keys (euro profile) or mechanical digi-codes (keypads), which are popular for shared residential blocks as they remove the need for managing physical keys.
Can the shelters be extended later ?
Most of our range is modular. You can purchase a "starter unit" and add "extension units" later as demand increases, sharing the internal side panels to reduce costs.
Do I need a concrete base ?
Yes. For a secure structure, a flat, level concrete base is required. The shelter is typically bolted to this base. This also ensures there are no gaps at the bottom for litter to blow out or for thieves to leverage under.
Are the shelters fire resistant ?
Our steel structures are non-combustible. If you choose wood cladding, it is treated, but for high-risk areas (like bin stores close to buildings), we recommend opting for fully galvanised steel cladding / mesh to minimize fire load.
How are the shelters delivered ?
Due to their size, shelters are delivered "flat-packed" for assembly on site. We provide full assembly instructions. This reduces transport costs and allows for easier handling on sites with restricted access.
