The round posts are constructed from aluminium tubes with a diameter of 76 mm and a thickness of 3 mm, mounted on sturdy base plates. The bases and collars are made from die-cast aluminium, adding to the shelter's durability and resistance to wear and tear. Additionally, the under-roof height of 2500 mm accommodates a wide range of users, including those with disabilities.
Designed for durability, the roof of the shelter features 6 mm anti-UV-treated cellular polycarbonate, ensuring long-term resilience against environmental factors. The roof frame consists of two 40 x 60 mm aluminium-tube crossbars and two aluminium-profile rain gutters. The barrel roof supports are constructed from curved aluminium profiles, providing both structural integrity and an appealing visual aesthetic.
For maximum passenger safety, the rear and side cladding are made from 8 mm safety glass. These cladding panels are attached using a pinch-grip system crafted from die-cast aluminium, ensuring that all components are securely and safely in place.
The Province Brushed Stainless Steel Bus Shelter also includes practical features such as a timetable display case measuring 750 x 550 mm, capable of displaying four A4-sized pages. Made from anodised aluminium, this display case is both functional and stylish. In terms of advertising, the shelter offers space for a “2000” display case with a 1750 mm x 1200 mm display area, providing additional opportunities for revenue generation.
