The Silaos® chair is meticulously designed to provide comfort and durability. With a seat length of 600 mm and a height of 450 mm, it offers ergonomic benefits that cater to a wide range of users. The structure is crafted from 30 x 50 mm steel tubes, which are zinc primed and coated in our exclusive range of colours, guaranteeing both aesthetics and longevity. The seat and backrest of the Silaos® chair are constructed from PEFC certified French oak, with a depth of 36 mm. This sustainable choice underlines Procity’s commitment to environmentally friendly practices. The wooden components are available with or without armrests, and feature a thickness of 8 mm, adding to the overall robustness of the chair. We apply a water-based colour stain preservative to the wood, available in light oak or mahogany finishes. This not only enhances the wood's natural beauty but also protects it from the elements, ensuring the chair’s durability.
Installation and Environmental Considerations
The Silaos® chair is mounted on base plates, ensuring stability and ease of installation. For locations within 5 miles of the coast, we strongly recommend additional weather treatment for the steel components, such as galvanising.
