Technical Specifications
The Province City bus shelter is available in two standard lengths: 2500 mm and 5000 mm. It has a total depth of 1733 mm, ensuring ample space for commuters. The shelter is supported by sturdy, round aluminium posts with a 3 mm wall thickness and a diameter of 76 mm, mounted on durable base plates. The bases and collars are constructed from die-cast aluminium, providing robust stability. The under-roof height of the shelter is 2500 mm, accommodating a range of users comfortably. The roof is made from 6 mm anti-UV-treated cellular polycarbonate, ensuring longevity and protection from harmful ultraviolet rays. The roof frame features two crossbars and two rain gutters made from 40 x 60 mm aluminium tubes, supported by curved aluminium profiles that give the roof its distinct barrel shape. To provide both safety and transparency, the rear and side cladding are made from 8 mm safety glass, attached using a pinch-grip system crafted from die-cast aluminium. This secure attachment method ensures the glass panels remain firmly in place under various weather conditions. For convenience, the shelter comes with a timetable display case formatted to hold four A4 sheets (750 x 550 mm) and constructed from anodised aluminium.
