The Painted Dome Top Steel Bollard is made from high quality steel tubes available in various diameters - 60, 76, 90, 114 or 160 mm. The tube has a thickness of 3mm and comes with a welded domed plug. The bollard is either painted or zinc-primed and painted in our colours to ensure a long-lasting and visually pleasing finish.
For installation, the bollard is concreted directly into the ground with a concrete depth of 180 mm. An optional removable feature using the Lockblock® 21 system can also be incorporated, except for bollards with diameters of 60 mm or 160 mm. Procity is mindful of the adverse effects of coastal weather on steel, hence if the bollard is to be installed within 5 miles of the coast, we strongly recommend an additional weather treatment for the steel work, such as galvanising.
