Procity, with over 40 years in the urban furniture manufacturing industry, introduces the Agglo Astray Bollard. This functional and aesthetic bollard effectively integrates street furniture capabilities with waste management solutions, specifically designed for urban environments.
Design and Features
The Agglo Astray Bollard offers a convenient solution that coordinates seamlessly with other street furniture. It has a significant capacity of approximately 1500 cigarette butts, making it suitable for high-traffic areas. The emptying process is designed to be quick, easy, and clean—simply unlock the triangle key lock located at the top of the bollard and remove the plug at the bottom of the ashtray.
Structurally, the bollard features an exterior steel tube with a diameter of 76 mm and an interior tube of 60 mm. The top cap is designed in the Agglo style, adding a touch of elegance to its functional form. The total height of the bollard, excluding the top cap, is 1200 mm. A stubbing grill is incorporated to extinguish cigarettes and prevent larger objects from entering the ashtray, ensuring effective waste management.
Durability and Finish
The Agglo Astray Bollard is both zinc primed and painted in our RAL colours, providing durable protection against weather conditions. Additionally, a logo print is included, allowing for custom branding or informational signs. For installations within 5 miles of the coast, we strongly recommend an additional weather treatment for the steel work through galvanising, which enhances the longevity and durability of the bollard.
